i went to a boat show w/ my dad a few months ago, and there was this one exhibit for these awesome [ super expensive ] kitchen knives; the guy [ i think he might've been an intern/new guy ] was demonstrating how sharp their shears were by cutting pennies. he cut one of them into a flower which i took home as a souvenir ^^
a side note - the poor guy got yelled at by his boss cause he forgot to give us a paper to fill out for their catalog -.-'
another note - i had meant for the title to be 'a penny [ flower ] for your thoughts' but it wouldn't fit, and apparently you can't use brackets which kinda killed the point of that title
haha, i'd be surprised if anyone actually read through all of this. . . i just can't seem to be one of those people who let their art speak for itself ^^'

3/31 edit : wow, i didn't realize that so many ppl would like this picture! thank you so much for your support, comments, favorites/collections, views, etc. ^-^ also just to clear some things up; i noticed that a few ppl must've misunderstood me. a guy cut that w/ a pair of kitchen scissors not a knife [ although i would like to see it done w/ a knife myself ]
Don't worry about it; a lot of times my "artist's comments" are really long too. I've seen a demonstration like that before. They are fairly impressive, aren't they?
